There were a lot of special moments throughout the wedding day. The father daughter dance, the mother son dance, the kiss during the ceremony, Cayman’s first look of Amanda in her dress, but my personal favorite was the combination of Amanda and her dad’s expression as they made it to the end of the aisle. In that one moment I could see the happiness of a very proud father and raw emotion of Amanda excited to start a new life together with Cayman. Im certain these photos will be looked at again and again for many many years to come. They will only increase in value as these too grow old together and have kids of their own someday.

Melrose Ranch is an amazing new wedding venue in San Diego with lush green gardens, huge shade trees, and a beautiful barn. When there are gorgeous flowers blooming with butterflies flying around, there really isn’t that much decorating that you have to do! The opportunity to be a Melrose Ranch Wedding Photographer is a dream come true and the venue reminds me of my wedding day at San Diego Botanical Gardens. There are so many different photographic opportunities that you just don’t have enough time in a day. Amanda was smart and we had a first look before the ceremony, so we had the time to capture photos in the gardens, vineyards, and courtyards. What a great place and with great staff too. Julie Stroh is a prenominal coordinator and with the help of her awesome staff, she takes care of the everything including the food. Not only was the food delicious but everyone was able to get there food within a 15 min or less window. I rarely see that and I was really impressed.

We hosted an open photobooth in the barn… what a hit! Everyone was having the time of their life!!! : ) Everyone was so silly and creative.
