Brides, what do you do when your wedding caterer gets in an accident on the way to your wedding? I know most would get pretty upset, dissapointed, and worried right! Not this bride! Monique stayed calm and kept smiling. She was so happy to be marrying her best friend and get to spend time with all of her family and friends it barely put a wrinkle in her day. We can all learn something from Monique in this regard. Everyday I find myself worrying about every task at work, every project that my son needs to complete in school, every bill that is coming due, but Jesus tells us about the birds dont worry about a thing, and yet they are given food everyday, how much more does our father in heaven love us, right! Worrying about things wont add an hour to our life, so Im going to try harder to give it to God and move on like Monique did. And sure enough a taco truck showed up eventually and better late than never!
Ive known Monique and her fam since high school and it was such a fun time getting to photograph her BIG day! All the old friends that I hadnt seen for all these years, I got to give a hug and see them happy as ever! What a blessing it was for me to get to photograph this wedding! Jose and MOnique have the most adorable kids as you will see in the photos below. And one of my favorite moments at the reception was the garter and bouquet toss. There was a boyfriend and girlfriend couple that caught them and were super excited!!! I hope they contact me soon to tell me when and where the wedding will be!!! ;) Without further ado, enjoy some of my favorite images from this beautiful spring wedding in Valley Center!
